Sundays
We meet every Sunday from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, starting at the Small Hall, Andover Estate Community Centre, 55 Corker Walk, Finsbury Park, London N7 7RY.
In our Sunday gatherings, we will aim to facilitate doing the basics well:
| 10:30-12:00 | Bible exposition (with discussions in regular small groups)  |
| 12:00-13:00 | Lunch (1 st Sunday of each month is the Lord’s supper) |
| 13:00-14:30 | Member’s ministry (speaking the truth in love; prayer) |
Lunch and member’s ministry is all together for the first Sunday of each month, and then in small group members’ homes the other Sundays.
ABC Distinctives
So, at Andover Bible Church (ABC), we want to do the following basics of Bible and Church well:
- Teach the Bible with clarity and depth, equipping believers to know God personally and hear his voice in their daily lives:
Blessed is the man who
walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers; 2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
- To be an authenticlocal Church family to one another where we love and support each other through deep and meaningful relationships:
[Jesus] gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherd-teachers,
12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry,
for building up the body of Christ,
13 until we all attain
to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God
to mature manhood,
to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
14 so that we may no longer be children,
tossed to and fro by the waves
and carried about
by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning,
by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love,
we are to grow up in every way
into him who is the head,
into Christ,
16 from whom the whole body,
joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped,
when each part is working properly, makes the body grow
so that it builds itself up in love.
